These terms apply to ontariosecuritylicense.ca and to courses and services sold by Lion Guard Corporation o/a Ontario Security License.
Who we are and what we don't do
We provide security guard training and the Criminal Record and Judicial Matters Check (CRJMC) through our authorized partner, Triton. We do not issue, renew or process security guard licences. Licence applications and renewals are submitted by the applicant directly through Ontario.ca, and government licensing fees are paid separately.
Course access and accounts
When you enrol, you get lifetime access to the online course in our student portal, for as long as we offer the course. Each account is for one student. Please don't share your login: your Training Completion Number (TCN) can only be issued to the person who completed the training. You're responsible for keeping your password private.
Prices and payment
All prices are in Canadian dollars. 13% HST is added at checkout. Card payments are processed securely by Stripe. Payment plans, where offered, are subject to the plan provider's terms. Government fees, such as the licensing test fee and the licence application fee, are not included and are paid separately to the testing provider and the Ministry. We may change our prices, but a change never affects an order you've already paid for.

Practice test and website content
Our free practice test and eligibility check are study and planning tools only. They are not the official Ministry test and don't guarantee that you'll pass or be licensed; the Ministry makes the final decision on every application. The information on this website is general, may change, and is not legal advice. Always check current requirements on Ontario.ca. All course content, videos and website content belong to Lion Guard Corporation and may not be copied or shared without our permission.
Limitation of liability and governing law
To the extent the law allows, we aren't responsible for indirect losses, such as lost wages or job opportunities, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the course or service involved. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under Ontario's Consumer Protection Act, 2002. These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
